I also made this little gem for the exhibition too...this didn't sell either, which I'm secretly quite pleased about!  My sisters fiance is a tree surgeon has got me a magnificent block of wood, which once dried out and levelled off is going to make an excellent plinth for it :-)  roll on warmer, drier weather!

John Millest Exhibition 2012

Well, they made it into the exhibition - just.  Unfortunately some of the students at the college thought it was 'fun' to keep pulling them down from their original hanging space (you can take art to the masses but you can't make the little darlings appreciate or respect it!).

So, they were removed for 'safe-keeping' until the night of the private view, where they were re-hung to a better space, halfway through the evening, therefore ensuring that none of the visiting guests actually saw them!

oh well there's always 2014!
