End of year exhibition 2010...

Well, its all over now, all our hard work has been exhibited and marked. The external verifier has been in and meetings have been held. I overheard some wonderful comments about my work from those who visited the exhibition during the past week and some lovely feedback from some of the tutors. So, to celebrate what I hope will be a successful degree result, and to showcase some of the other excellent students (and now also fully fledged artists), here are a few more photos of our exhibition. Full Circle

It's done!!

Full Circle, after weeks of drilling and threading and hours of hanging, it now completed and successfully hanging in its gallery space at the BA (Hons) Fine Art end of year show 2010 at the Henwood Campus in Ashford!!!!

and very well pleased I am with it too!!!

So nearly there!!!

Despite the graphs, plans, drawings and maquettes to show that the idea works, it is still astoundingly nerve-racking waiting to hang my 157 strands of 1500+ test tubes to see it as a completed piece...and not being able to hang it until a few days before the exhibition is just adding to my seemingly constant anxious state! I'm beyond freaked out that I have absolutely no room for error...and...if anything does go wrong, I have absolutely nothing else to put into the end of year exhibition!!...talk about taking things to the wire! :-)
